Ways to pay your bill
Choose what's most convenient for you.
Pre-Authorized Debit (PAD)
When you register for PAD, your total amount due is automatically withdrawn from your bank account. You’ll continue receiving your bill two weeks before the due date, so you know the exact amount that will be withdrawn.
How to register for PAD
You can register for PAD through our online self-serve portal. Please have your current bill and your banking information ready.
Please note: Once you register, PAD takes effect on your next bill. You can pay any current bills through one of our other payment options.
Equal Payment Plan (EPP)
With EPP, your annual electricity costs are spread evenly so you pay the same amount each month. We estimate how much electricity you’ll use for the upcoming year, and divide that amount into equal monthly payments. Once a year, your account is reconciled.
Any overpayment or underpayment is applied to your next bill. If the annual reconciliation shows that you owe an amount equal to or exceeding your average monthly bill, we’ll recover the balance over the following year’s equal monthly payments.
How to register for EPP
Customers can register for EPP online or by phone.
To register for EPP online, you must also be registered for Pre-Authorized Debit (PAD). First, log in to our online self-serve portal. From there, register for PAD if you haven’t already. Then, you can register for EPP.
Register by phone
If you wish to register for EPP without signing up for PAD, please call us at 416-542-8000.
