Common questions

There are many ways to pay your Toronto Hydro bill, including through Pre-Authorized Debit, Equal Payment Plan, financial institutions (including online banking), mail or Telpay. Please note that we do not accept payment by credit card unless you’ve received a disconnection notice or have been disconnected.

Ways to pay

When you register for PAD, it takes effect on your next bill. That means you’ll need to pay your current bill through one of our other payment options. After that, you won’t have to manually pay your Toronto Hydro bill again, unless you cancel your PAD service.
