Check out the following offers and rebates available to residential customers looking to electrify their home, use energy efficiently and reduce their energy costs.

Save on Energy programs

Peak Perks™ Program

Have a smart thermostat? If so, sign up for Peak Perks and start getting rewarded for reducing your energy use when demand for electricity in Ontario is high during the summer months.

Receive a $75 virtual prepaid Mastercard® when you enrol. Also, receive a $20 virtual prepaid Mastercard® each additional year you stay enrolled in the program. Learn more about Peak Perks.

Energy Affordability Program (EAP)

EAP offers energy-saving measures to help income-eligible households manage their energy use and lower electricity costs. Depending on eligibility and the existing equipment within your home, you may receive:

• LED lightbulbs and smart power bars
• Smart thermostats
• Energy-efficient appliances such as refrigerators, freezers and dehumidifiers
• Insulation and other home efficiency improvements
• Heat pumps (for qualifying electric- or oil-heated homes)

NEW and only available until December 31, 2026
Households currently using oil heating may also be eligible for the Oil to Heat Pump Affordability (OHPA) Program through EAP, which supports the replacement of oil heating systems with an electric heat pump, at no cost to the participant.

Home Renovation Savings Program

Save on Energy and Enbridge Gas, supported by the Ontario government, have a financial incentive program to help Ontarians enhance their home efficiency and comfort.

The Home Renovation Savings Program provides rebates for energy-efficient upgrades, including heat pumps, heat pump water heaters, smart thermostats, insulation and more. Additional rebates are available for new installations of solar panels and battery energy storage systems (when paired with solar panels).

Attention homeowners: New rebates available through the Home Renovation Savings Program!
The Home Renovation Savings Program recently added new rebates for qualified ENERGY STAR® Most Efficient 2025 appliances, including select fridges, freezers, washing machines, induction cooktops and ranges, and heat pump clothes dryers. Heat Pump Assistance Program

This limited-time project reached full capacity within weeks of launching and is now helping up to 200 Toronto families stay comfortable year-round with modern heating and cooling systems installed at no upfront cost. City of Toronto programs

Home Energy Loan Program

Toronto homeowners can receive low-interest financing up to $125,000 to cover the cost of home energy improvements, such as air sealing, air-source heat pumps, battery energy storage systems, electric vehicle charging stations, solar panels, window and door replacements, and much more.

Eco-Roof Incentive Program

The City of Toronto offers incentives to support the installation of green roofs and cool roofs (known collectively as eco-roofs) on Toronto homes and buildings. Learn more about the Eco-Roof Incentive Program.

Energy Retrofit Loan Program

Receive fixed, long-term, low-interest financing towards low-carbon, energy-efficient capital improvements through the City of Toronto's Energy Retrofit Loan Program. Eligible measures and technologies include, but are not limited to, battery energy storage systems, heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) systems, heat pumps, lighting and more.

Furnace Upgrade Program

The City of Toronto, in collaboration with Toronto Hydro, has launched a Furnace Upgrade Program that helps Toronto residents replace their aging furnace with an electric heat pump. As part of the program, Toronto residents can connect for free with a Toronto Hydro energy coach to receive personalized guidance on home energy upgrades.
