Brian Topp is a partner at GT & Company. He is also a member of the Prime Minister’s Council on Canada-U.S. Relations; a member of the City of Toronto’s Mayor’s Economic Action Team; a fellow at the Public Policy Forum; and chair of the board of the Broadbent Institute.
Mr. Topp has served in government (chief of staff to former Alberta Premier Rachel Notley and deputy chief of staff to former Saskatchewan Premier Roy Romanow); in Toronto’s film industry (co-chair of Film Ontario, director on the board of Pinewood Toronto Studios and executive director at ACTRA Toronto); and in financial services (senior vice-president at Credit Union Central of Canada).
He is a graduate of McGill University, and was born in Montreal.
