Toronto Hydro-Electric System Limited Update: Power Outage: 3650 Kingston Road
TORONTO, March 19 /CNW/ - Shortly before 3:00 am this morning Toronto
Hydro-Electric System Limited (Toronto Hydro) received a report of a power
outage at a multi-residential building at 3650 Kingston Road. Emergency crews
were immediately dispatched. The problem originated in the customer's
electrical room at the building, and subsequently damaged Toronto Hydro's
transformer which feeds the building. Toronto Hydro's transformer is located
outside of the building. Toronto Hydro is in the process of repairing its
transformer. However, the building owner will have to make the necessary
repairs to the building's electrical system before Toronto Hydro can
re-connect its feed, thereby restoring power. At this time, we do not know
when power will be restored.
