As an Energy Innovation Consultant in the Standards and Energy Solutions department, Planning, Engineering and Modernization division, Rei Marzoughi’s primary role is to understand how utilities can adapt to accommodate the emerging technological innovation in the power sector. Rei’s portfolio includes the Local Demand Response Program, which enables Toronto Hydro to work with large customers to reduce their electricity usage and extends the life of distribution stations with capacity constraints.
Having worked at Toronto Hydro for over four years, Rei says the best part of her job is working with an amazing group of people.
There are so many bright, kind, supportive, collaborative people to learn from every day. I love my job because, even when things get really hard, I know that all the work we do is vital to ensuring a great quality of life for all the people of Toronto.
