Important Message: Canada Post Service Disruption


With a Canada Post mail service disruption announced in our area, you may not receive your Toronto Hydro bill or be able to send your payment by mail.

You’re reminded that you’re still responsible for keeping your account up-to-date.

We have a number of services available to help you manage your account during a postal service disruption.


Receiving Bills                                                                                                                                                                                                        

Choose either of the options listed below.

  1. Sign up for eBills and receive your bill on time, every time. Our eBill service offers simple, secure, 24/7 access to your bills. To find out more about the benefits of eBills, visit torontohyro.com/ebills, or for help registering, please call Customer Care at 416-542-8000.
  2. Call Customer Care at 416-542-8000 (press 2, then 1) to hear your account balance. 



Paying Bills

Choose any of the options listed below. 

  1. Sign up for Pre-Authorized Debit (PAD) to avoid late payment charges. Bills are automatically paid from your bank account. 
  2. Pay in person at your bank or using the online or telephone bill payment services, offered by most financial institutions. 
  3. Pay directly from your bank account online with a Telpay account.  
  4. Access our Payment Drop-Off Boxes at two of our locations:   
        • 500 Commissioners Street
        • 14 Carlton Street
