ENERGY STAR qualified room air conditioners are up to 70 per cent more efficient and use about 10 per cent less electricity than conventional models, which could mean a savings of as much as $60 over the lifetime of the unit.
Why exchange an old portable dehumidifier?
An ENERGY STAR qualified model removes the same amount of moisture as a similarly standard unit, but uses up to 10-20 per cent less electricity. In fact, the energy saved by an ENERGY STAR qualified dehumidifier could power your refrigerator for up to 6 months!
