"All of our customers are asking us about energy saving equipment. I'm extremely happy about this new mentality."
Owner, Haas Charbaghi, 360° Living Inc.

Today, 360° Living Inc. is a leading Toronto company in home climate control solutions. They offer a broad range of quality products including furnaces, air conditioners, fireplaces and outdoor grills, all supported by technical expertise, design consulting and after-sales service.
Owner, Haas Charbaghi noted that nearly all of his clients are looking for energy efficiency in their purchases, and so he is very aware of the energy used for his own business.
"We want to do our part for the planet and the environment. We are very pleased to be on the peaksaver program. It makes sense for us."
Having lived in Europe for many years, Charbaghi compares how we think about the environment. "This is relatively new here. Thinking about energy efficiency has been the norm in Europe for many years. It's good for everyone and it's very promising."

Dunn Milk Variety |
What can a variety store do to help the environment?
Signing up for peaksaver is an easy start.
|
In the west end of the city, Dunn Milk Variety is the one-stop shop that serves the community around Springhurst and Dunn Avenues. In the summer, it's also a lively gardening centre, with a riot of colourful flowers spilling to the sidewalk's edge.
This is a family business run by Keung Suk Lee and his daughter Angela. Like many small business owners, they look for ways to reduce overhead costs, and as good corporate citizens, to lessen their impact on the environment.
They signed up for peaksaver to receive a $75 bill credit and to reduce the peak electricity demand in Toronto during peak times. In addition to peaksaver, Dunn Milk Variety also took advantage of Power Savings Blitz, with a free upgrade to energy efficient lighting throughout the store. The lighting makes their store brighter and helps them save every year.
