Toronto Hydro Corporation is a holding company which, through its principal subsidiaries:

• Distributes electricity;
• Engages in conservation and demand management
  (“CDM”) activities; and
• Provides street lighting services to the City of Toronto.

• Provides policy and strategic direction.
• Manages shareholder and key business relationships.
• Promotes workplace and public awareness about electricity safety and energy conservation.
• Directs corporate responsibility and sustainability strategies and activities.

• Named one of Canada’s Top 100 Employers as chosen by Canada’s Top 100 Employers organization; one of Greater Toronto's Top Employers as featured in the Toronto Star; one of the Top Family Friendly Employers as featured by Canadian Family Magazine; and one of Canada’s Greenest Companies as chosen by Canada’s Top 100 Employers organization.
• Continued to support employee volunteerism in the community.
• Supported the City’s Urban Forest campaign, Ontario Forestry Association and Local Enhancement and Appreciation of Forests through tree planting initiatives and forestry education programs.
• Raised $256,714 for United Way.
• Provided a consistent and fair return to our Shareholder.
• Remained a strong investment-grade company with a rating of 'A' (High) by DBRS and 'A' by Standard & Poor's.

2010 Objectives

• Continue our emphasis on public safety, workplace health and safety and corporate sustainability.
• Seek to maintain Top 100 Employer status with engaged and empowered employees who continue to be proud to work for Toronto Hydro.
• Increase the value of the Corporation.
