Safety Reminder

• If you see downed electrical wires, stay away and warn others. Immediately call us at 416.542.8000.
• If a wire falls across your car while you are in, do not get out of the car until emergency help arrives.
• Never climb utility poles or towers.
• Never climb trees that are close to power lines.
• Avoid flying kites, metallic balloons, and model airplanes near power lines. If one gets caught in the wires, call us at 416.542.8000 to remove it.
• Do not place swimming or wading pools under power lines.
• Do not allow children to play on or near electrical equipment. If a lock on electrical equipment is broken or has been tampered with, please call us at 416.542.8000.
• To avoid scalding, have the temperature setting on your water heater checked to ensure it is not too high. Try setting your hot water tank's thermostat at 47°C (115°F).
